Fears airballs a layup
Good point, there’s probably even a 50/50 shot Terry is coaching against us next monthTwo examples where it didn't happen, and they're regretting it:
- Texas, where they're looking for a reason to get rid of Rodney Terry after he salvaged the season of the Chris Beard debacle.
- NC State, where they were about to fire Kevin Keatts before he won 9 in a row in the ACC and NCAA tournaments. He made the Final Four, so they had to extend him. They're having another awful season now.
NOPEHas anyone on this team improved since the start of the season other than Forsythe?
His age works in his favor. If he was a senior doing this he would absolutely not go in the lottery.Fears is scared. I just don’t see a 1st round pick in his game but I am also not an NBA GM
Theyre poons. No toughness. Sampson laughs at pm's toughnessCharmin soft at the rim.....too many of these guys just don't have the moxie.
We need joe c out and pmArmin needs to hitch himself to another wagon just sayin
Sorry I still don’t see it 18 or notHis age works in his favor. If he was a senior doing this he would absolutely not go in the lottery.
Yea schools want so badly for it to work out that they look for any tiny silver lining and ignore years of evidence. Just like some of the folks on this board who constantly point to a handful of good games over the past four years. Two examples where it didn't happen, and they're regretting it:

Fears has great handles/skill, but he lacks a toughness component because he has never had to be tough. He's always been so much better than everyone he played around and against. He will do fine in the NBA because it's pretty much an open court game until you get deep in the playoffs....and you don't necessarily have to play defense either to be successful.I’ve been Fears biggest defender. But can’t help but think his draft stock goes down every other game we play. Very inconsistent, which I guess is to be expected for a guy as young as him. Not so sure if he’s still lottery bound.
