I am very happy with this result, means I'm going to stay indoors and enjoy some beverages in celebration. Was already planning my trek to the LNC and I'm happy to postpone that trip.

Since about 10AM this morning winds have been averaging over 30 mph with gusts to 50 mph and single digit temperatures. Wind chill is double digits below zero. Will Rogers airport reported over 10 inches of snow so far and it's all blowing somewhere else.

I think the belief is it allows people to get home while there is still light outside and it will be somewhat warmer.

This is great news IMO. I will be going for sure now. Hopefully many more that were scared of weather will go.

If you are a student and can pass the word to any students to come tomorrow that could really help get some butts in the seats!
