Oh I give them all kinds of respect despite how much I hate them. I certainly don't want them to win but when they do, I am willing to give them credit. It is similar to the Big 12 fans who moan when OU loses a playoff game or a big bowl game. If those teams don't want that to happen, there is a simple solution ... beat OU and try winning the playoff game themselves lol.
 
If KSU can maintain a two-game lead in the loss column going into the game in Lawrence, it would be huge. They need that buffer so they could hold onto the lead even with a loss there. Tonight was definitely a big step.

Prob 300 in attendance...seriously...id guess not more than 1k. Place is empty. Cant even get one of those "groups" shots.

Basically ku threw desousa under the bus. NCAA wanted them to admit they knew the guy was a booster...they (self) said no.

It's amazing how much crap they get away with...on top the fans just tell ya your jealous if you bring any of this up.

I'll be the first to tell ya OU screwed up when they screwed up.

They’re quick to call OU cheaters for text messages, etc. But when it’s their teams long list they just say your jealous. It’s funny, cuz now a lot of KU fans are crying that the NCAA is out to get them and that they’re the victims. LOL.

That may not be the case this time. This entire investigation from the FBI’s involvement to the arrests and indictments, to reports that the NCAA is investigating now, has had an ominous ring unlike anything I can remember involving the blue bloods, especially KU.

I said two weeks ago that the NCAA’s ruling on De Sousa may be a signal that the NCAA is fed up with KU’s dirty deals and Self’s cover ups of some of the players he recruits. Anyone who wants to know what I’m talking about can do a search on “KU’s basketball scandals.” Crap like this has been going on for way too long, and it didn’t start with Bill Self.

Maybe KU’s basketball program will finally get what it deserves!

Well, that primarily consists of them winning more games than anyone else in the league. Their win at TCU and KSU losing at home today pretty much means KU is going to at least get a share. Tech is the only game left that they won't be favored to win.

I don't think you can read much of anything into KU beating TCU or WVU. They still aren't very good, and could most definitely lose @Tech, vs KSU, @ OU or vs Baylor.

Lol at the thought they could "definitely" lose both of their remaining home games. I think Baylor and KSU have lost approximately 800 in a row in Lawrence.

Also, if KU ends up in the Final Four, I can still see you maintaining that they aren't good. It's odd how often the scoreboard ends up saying otherwise when they play. Yet I'm the contrarian...

You don't seem to know what the word "or" means. And they've got zero chance at the final four, even if they backdoor into a conference championship again.
