My heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to our OSU brothers and sisters after the tragic death of head coach Kurt Budke, Oklahoma State assistant women’s basketball coach Miranda Serna, former state senator Olin Bransetter and his wife, Paula Bransetter. Sometimes life is cruel and unfair and I just can't believe that something like this would happen again to that community. Awful.

That was one thing I dreaded with Sampson teams would get a lead late in games. They would always try to take the air out of the ball and games that shouldn't would end as nail biters.

Man I still remember like it was yesterday that game against Missouri in the Big 12 tournament final. We didn't score a single point for like 15 minutes of game time and still won. Just insane.

Well I was going to watch the game but this is the worst broadcast I've ever seen for any sport. You can't even see the shot go in or hit the rim half the time and the camera man is about 5 seconds behind the play. I'm not sure if it's just my tv but this is a joke.

30-6 OU. About 8 min left in the first. Have not seen us play this good in a long while, its very refreshing after the last few years.

Didn't play good the last 8 minutes. I didn't like the last couple minutes when we basically had Grooms and a bunch of guys with no offense. But once Newell came in we got some offense there at the end. But we played awesome the first 10 minutes or so.

I may be wrong, but I don't think we're going to see as much of Newell as everyone thinks this year. Once the competition gets tougher I think we'll see less Newell and more Blair and Grooms on the floor together. Newell just doesn't create for anyone but himself right now. Until he can do something other than shoot it every time he touches the ball I don't think he'll see more than a couple minutes a game.

Edit: Newell played better with the starters because he doesn't have to create. He's not the guy to carry the second unit right now.

I did like the way we took advantage of the m2m on the Grooms and Newell drives towards the end of the half but it had us out of sorts for a bit.
