NOTABLE
• Oklahoma and TCU are meeting for the 15th time, but first as conference rivals.
• OU leads the overall series 12-3, taking the last meeting in Norman, 82-54, on Dec. 28, 2011.
• All three OU losses in the series have occured in Fort Worth. The Sooners have lost their last two games at TCU.
• Oklahoma head coach Sherri Coale is 369-170 (.684) in her 17th season. She has been the Big 12 Coach of the Year four times.
• TCU head coach Jeff Mittie is 283-146 (.660) in his 17th season at TCU. Mittie has a 434-205 (.679) career record in his 21st year.

The Volleyballers should get their second game to play in. Since TCU was able to hang with Kansas State, I wonder if they are equally as bad as the Horn Frogs.

K-State didn't start a 6-footer against TCU. They have a real height disadvantage.

For that matter, TCU is short this year. Their starting lineup against us will be 5-7, 5-10, 5-10, 5-10, and 6-3. They have another 6-3 and 6-1 that get real minutes, but that's it.

TCU doesn't appear to shoot very well at all. 34.7% FG and 30.8% 3FG. They can shoot FT though at 76.5%.

We get to see former OU commit Kamy Cole. She's not starting, but seems to be getting the most minutes off the bench.

TCU roster:
Whitney Williams G 5-7 SR
Veja Hamilton G/F 5-10 FR
Chelsea Prince F 5-11 SO
Meagan Henson G 5-0 JR
Kamy Cole G 5-9 FR
Zahna Medley G 5-6 FR
Latricia Lovings C 6-3 JR
Delisa Gross F 6-1 SR
Natalie Ventress G 5-10 SO
Caitlin Diaz F 6-1 FR
Donielle Breaux G 5-10 SO
Ashley Colbert C 6-3 SO

Of note:

In its last home game against Baylor, TCU drew a new school-record 7,394 spectators. The 7,394 in attendance marked the largest crowd in DMC history for either a men's or women's game. The 7,394 broke the previous women's school record of 7,262, which was set against Tennessee in 2000. It also marked only the second time in program history the Frogs have had over 7,000 in attendance. The largest men's attendance is 7,267 in 2003 against now conference foe Kansas.

Think they bring a crowd to our game too, or were they just there to see themselves get dunked on and to evaluate Skeletor's wardrobe choices, shoe stomping and ref cackling? :D

I suspect a large number of those in attendance were Baylor fans.

Riiiight. What was I thinking... I-35, Waco to Fort Worth... yes, of course. They also travel up I-35 to invade LNC with increased frequency

Thanks, that answers that question. I know Deb gets her kids to play pretty scrappy, and they usually shoot the ball fairly well, looks like she may be re-building this year.

I didn't know that TCU is as young as they are.

TCU by 5 at the half. No defense

It's going to suck if a team that might win 5 games in the big 12 gets one of the wins vs us.... Ugh

But also TCU always gives us a hard tested game....

Gotta cool this team off a bit; they can't miss from deep!
