A problem defensively? But, but we're fun to watch and as long as we win, we shouldn't be negative. It's all about outscoring the opponent.

Wide open look rims out. Our defense is freaking horrible. What are we going to do against good teams? Ugh.

Sarcasm?....hopefully

Wow, take the win and move on.

Cam Clark was great tonight

Maybe we will just out score good teams? All in all, put this one in the win column. At the end of the year, it won't matter that we sneaked by. Thank goodness for Cam. He has been amazing this year.

I think our guys are reveling in the AAU feel of the game without an understanding of the importance of possessions. We're good enough to score on anybody, but we're not deep enough to keep the defensive pressure up for 40 minutes...

Combine that with youthful gambling and reaching and forgotten assignments, and we are just downright poor on defense. Maybe the worst defensive team in the big 12.

They mentioned Woodard looking tired. I thought he looked like he was ill or had taken a blow to the solar plexus.

Our defense only looks bad because our offense is so amazing.

He looked completely dead out there. He looks like I do after playing two minutes of full court basketball or after a long night of drinking.

Lucky to escape that one, but a great performance by Cam Clark once again. Really happy to see him playing so confidently.

I was just having a look at the box score on ESPN. I know Woodard was dog tired (maybe even sick) but if their stats are correct he had 12 assists to 1 turnover. Pretty impressive, even if it is against UTA.

Very well said. Our offense will be able to win us some games in conference, but if we don't improve dramatically on the defensive end in several areas, we will be dancing....in the NIT.

Judging by the sick look on Jordan's face, you may be right. He wasn't himself, that's for sure.

12 assists to 1 turnover.....he needs to play sick, tired ..whatever every night with those stats

I'm still wait and see on this team, even after this performance. On one hand, this could have been "one of those nights"; every team has them during the season. This night may have been one of ours. On the other hand, this may be our decencies rearing their ugly head. I'm not sure about all that, yet... The past 2 games we were comfortably in the lead with about 8 minutes to go, and then the other team turned it on to make it an exciting finish. In my opinion, we just need to finish the same way we start, with the pedal to the metal.

One thought that I believe is getting lost here is what this team has not been able to do against the zone these past few games... It has really given us fits and I am of the opinion that it is as much the culprit for our poor performances as our D.

However, I would say this: the mere fact that we are sitting here as fans and disappointed with a 10-1 record, shows just how far this program has come. And I think it is important to remember that this was suppose to be a "rebuilding year for us...". I believe I read on OK Hoops' preview of us that to be 12-1 going into conference play was probably "best case scenario"... They also said that if this team were to make it back to the Tourney this year that would be "simply amazing"; and if we were to take a step forward that would be, "a miracle." That to me helps me not get too worked up about a game where it seemed like we were just in a funk...
