I wish they hadn't give up an out with Arnold. Wilkinson was 7-0 going into the Texas game last night. Lost 5-0. But, that means she has pitched about every game they have had. Let her work for her outs.

Well, at least we've tied it at 2-all. Chamberlain apparently hit the ball hard, lining out to first with a runner on base to end the inning.

Tough way to get three outs. Still tied. Does Paige have a problem with fielding a bunt?

Got out of a jam in the second. Was wondering, since I haven't seen Parker play, is Georgia picking on her with those bunts (two for hits), or were they just perfect bunts?

Edit: LOL, you and I were thinking the same thing, syb.

Georgia is like OU with their batters at the top of the order and 9-hole hitter - lots of speed. You have to be perfect to defend the bunt - remember the bases are only 60 feet apart.

LOL. The field is looking like a pinball machine the way Patty is moving her players around.

I wonder if she made a mid-inning change to give Paige a moment to rest?

Here we go again, 4-2. I hate this constantly having to play from behind.

You can throw bunters out. It strikes me that we must not be that experienced on fielding bunts. Ours are getting thrown out.

We are not quite in season peak form right now. We are making errors. We aren't hitting with runners on. We are not able to field our positions. The youth is letting us know that they are young.

Yeah, and we're also feeling the loss of Georgia Casey. Oh, well, I seem to remember having a few hiccups early in our national championship year. Not going to get overly worried at this point.

UGA is on the verge of blowing this game open. We're down four with just two more at-bat. Not ready to give up yet, though. And I know the Sooner players aren't.

I'm not able to see this. But, the box is telling me that we need to spend all day Monday fielding bunts, guarding against moving players over, etc. The bottom of the order followed by the top is killing us.

UGA has 12 hits in five at-bat. I can't remember OU pitching giving up 12 hits in an entire game.

Game over. The OU girls gave it a try to rally, just didn't get enough hits when needed.
Georgia wins 6-5.
