Yep, it's looking right now that the weekend games will be cancelled! Too bad! Lauren would have had a great shot to get a couple more HRs.

Is Chamberlain a natural 1B player? In the 1st game in the Nutter Classic she was a liability in the field. Was given 1 error and should have been 2. Couldn't field hard hit balls directed at her and they went right through her.
Would there be a problem if she was just a DH?
 
The ball was taking some bounces in Zona due to the new field. Even Vest missed one. The announcers said that the other team had barely stabbed some bad hops. Sometimes, you get them. Sometimes, you don't. Lauren was OK there last year.

She is the best in the country. She has a lifetime .988 fielding percentage. I do think the injuries last year has limited her range. Were you at the game at the Nutter Classic?

Not much time left to decide on Houston. So, Lauren sits out Saturday?
 
Does anyone know if Lauren was in the lineup Sunday before the games were rained out? SS doesn't give a box score for the rained-out game.
