Excluding the loss to Chaminade, OU has the exact record I anticipated at this point. I think the biggest problem is they played well against a young Kentucky team. Had they gotten beat by 20 and then upset by Chaminde, I probably would have said it was just one game and upsets happen in college sports. Michigan lost to a DII un football at home.

So is this an admission to a knee jerk reaction the last couple of weeks?

I'm not so much disappointed about the games we've lost (Chaminade aside), but the way we lost those games. We weren't terribly competitive. We didn't fight for rebounds, we didn't play hard-nosed defense in the paint or on the perimeter.

And we MUST start coming out of the gate stronger. This trend of our falling behind by double digits in game after game must end.

I couldn't agree more. Although I did think we would steal a win in Arkansas, I never imagined we would be blown out of the gym like we have been, or struggle like we did with NC directional or whoever it was and ORU. That is why i have been down on this team not so much our record, but how we got that record by not even showing up and have very confusing sub patterns, Offensive schemes, and defensive schemes
