Used to be a bright/rising star in coaching. Hire him as an assistant. Why not.

I haven't seen any tweets yet but USF is going to move on from Brian Gregory. Was expected anyway but then they got blown out today by a mediocre East Carolina team. Expedites things.

USF wants to win and they will target a big name. There's some Pitino talk but Georgetown and potentially St Johns (if they axe Mike Anderson) may also target Pitino.

Somewhat surprising news. Henson was a likeable assistant while at OU but UTSA is going nowhere. They lost 11 games straight at one point this season. JMO, but UTSA is the type of school who should be able to find enough Texas talent (and other states obviously) to challenge for the CUSA yearly.

i can't see rick picking lubbock over living in NYC

I agree. He’s an east coast guy and I don’t see him coming to Lubbock, texas. I expect him to take one of the many jobs in the Easter time zone that he will be offered.

Definitely agree with you two. Pitino lives at Winged Foot (near Iona) and St John's makes a lot of sense. Doesn't have to move. I'd tell the Johnnies to add helicopter access to the contract, lol (joking).

Pitino in Lubbock, at his age, just isn't a fit. Maybe a younger coach who cares about cost of living, raising a family.

Norman Roberts as HC at OU. Jeremy case and Hollis price or quannas white as assistants.

That would be a better coaching staff than the guys we have. I mean, we can’t do any worse than last place, can we?

Roberts Will have coached 7 games this season by this time tomorrow, and will be almost halfway to Moser’s win total.

Doug Gottlieb

Gottlieb is the wild card of the group.

He doesn’t have much coaching experience, although he was part of a staff that coached the U.S. team at the Maccabiah Games in 2009 and 2017.

UWGB was impressed with him during his initial interview, so much so that he has survived longer than some established head coaches and assistant coaches.

The Milwaukee native is among the all-time assist leaders in NCAA history during a career that started at Notre Dame. He spent just one season at the school before a well-known incident in which he stole credit cards from fellow students, something he wrote about at length in an essay for The Athletic in 2018.

This account is mostly reliable. Followed by Coach Humphrey & Dylan Mihalke.

really, really disappointed in the lack of backlash by everyone outside the athletic department at ole miss. hopefully the mothers of players won’t let their kid play for beard. wish nothing more than losing records and a miserable life for that pos.
