NORMAN – Oklahoma (14-13, 4-10 Big 12) continues its two-game road swing at No. 11 Texas Tech (21-6, 10-4 Big 12) Tuesday, Feb. 22.

The Sooners won the first meetings between the two schools 70-55 at Lloyd Noble Center Feb. 9.

Umoja Gibson tallied his first 30 point game in the Crimson and Cream and tied a career-high eight 3-pointers. Gibson finished 9-for-14 from the field and added five rebounds and a steal.

Elijah Harkless and Jordan Goldwire each finished in double figures with the trio of guards accounting for 53 of OU's 70 points. Harkless tallied 13 points, three rebounds and two steals, while Goldwire added 10 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Oklahoma entered halftime with a five-point deficit and rallied in the second, scoring 45 points on the tough Texas Tech defense. Gibson and Harkless combined for 28 points in the final 20 minutes and finished 8-for-11 from the field and 7-for-8 from three.

It’s a must-win if our goal is to somehow still lock ourselves into the Tourney before KC. At this point that probably isn’t even a pipe dream worth pondering. Not sure how we possibly score enough tonight to keep it close.

If we win tonight, it's b/c we play good D. TT isn't very good on offense. Need to make them earn every point they get, and hope we can escape with like a 63-60 win.

We match up on defense pretty well against these guys. Can't give them wide open threes, 2nd chance points, or easy points off turnovers.

My hope tonight is the old shoulder-shrug, you-just-never-know type of hope. Maybe this will be one of those odd happenings where we have Tech’s number for whatever reason. The Vegas angle is troubling though. All year we’ve been given some pretty solid respect.. but tonight we are 10 point dogs— looks like public thinks that number is too high and is leaning Sooners. Generally speaking that’s bad news. Was hoping the spread would be more like 6-7 and that public would be on Tech.

I hope our D is much better than it was against IA St. I have a small amount of hope and hope my hope is not gone before halftime.

Can’t get any more open than that J Groves 3. Have to make a lot of those.

Tanner Groves can’t defend Williams. He’s like a statue.
