Ride to Game Day with Coach Kruger and the College Gameday Bus

NORMAN, Okla. – The University of Oklahoma Athletics Department has announced a variety of incentives to accommodate OU students wishing to attend ESPN College GameDay covered by State Farm this Saturday, Feb. 13.

Gameday Shuttles - Shuttles buses will be provided to students free of charge. An initial pick-up will take place at the Asp Circle located on the west side of Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium at 8 a.m. CT. This pick-up will include food giveaways, an appearance by OU head coach Lon Kruger and an appearance by the ESPN College GameDay bus. The first 200 students will receive Rudy's breakfast burritos and donuts from Homeland while 14 lucky students will be randomly selected to climb aboard the GameDay bus with coach Kruger.

Beginning at 8:30 a.m., buses will begin shuttle routes to and from the Lloyd Noble Center at the following locations (shuttles will run until 11:30 a.m.):

North Greek
Parson Street in between College Avenue and Chautauqua Avenue

South Greek
Intersection of College Avenue and Emerald Way

Residence Halls
North of Couch Cafeteria

Giveaways

500 net hats from State Farm
1,000 rollabanners from State Farm
250 OU College Gameday hats
*300 Rudy’s breakfast burritos
*300 donuts from Homeland
*200 cups of Community Coffee
*A chance at a $18,000 half-court shot on live television

* Available to OU students only

Student season ticket holders will also receive a wristband to gain priority access into the Lloyd Noble Center at 11:30 a.m.

Doors to the GameDay show will open at 8 a.m. CT and admission is free. Standard bag checks and security protocols will be enforced upon entry. OU students should enter through LNC's lower north doors, while general fans should use the east and southeast Legacy Court entrances only. All fans will be required to clear the arena after the conclusion of the GameDay show.

ESPN College GameDay will be making its second-ever visit to Norman, Okla., to showcase the No. 1 Oklahoma versus No. 7 Kansas men's basketball matchup on Saturday, Feb. 13, inside Lloyd Noble Center. The one-hour morning show begins at 10 a.m. CT on ESPN, followed by an afternoon edition leading into the game telecast starting at 1 p.m. CT.

ESPN College GameDay ... is hosted by Rece Davis, who will be joined by analysts Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and Jay Williams. Dan Shulman, Bilas and reporter Shannon Spake will have the call of the game.
 
I saw that tweet earlier...good gosh Kruger is amazing...he wants to make OU into s basketball school. I wish he was in his 40s and not 60s cause he would lead us on a coach K type dynasty...I truly believe that..
 
Love that the school is chipping in to make this a big deal. We certainly want OU to come off looking good in all this. A huge game day atmosphere would be helpful. Hopefully the crowd will get the LNC rocking this weekend. :OUbball-logo:
