of OU. Talking whether Texas is now the second best behind KU. IDIOTS all name Iowa State/Texas AND EVEN OSU and NO mention of OU.

Well I have news for them, OU is going to end at least 12-6 and SECOND in the Big-12. What homers and losers. Hope the team hears about this snub.

This OU team hasn't received much respect from the national media since the season began. So, you shouldn't be surprised that ESPN doesn't think we're good enough to finish in second place after losing two straight games, the last one to an unranked team. It's not likely ESPN gave much thought to how difficult it is to win on the road in the Big 12 this year. But the truth is, it will harder for us to finish in second place now.

Having said that, it's not too late to reclaim the momentum we had before our losses to ISU and WVU. It has to be begin today with a win over Baylor. How we play from there will determine our conference finish. There's still a lot of basketball left. But we can't afford to lose another game we're picked to win and expect to regain the respect we were getting when we were on a roll.

Just win. Lack of applause is a good thing right now. We still have a lot of room for improvement.

Many of the bracketologists on the blogs talk about how we've won a lot of close games. And they feel like that is going to even out (lose a few close ones) as the season goes along. Well, from my perspective, we've now lost two close games in a row and it's time to start proving people wrong once again....winning cures everything. The right people will stand up and take notice if we go out and do what we are capable of doing. Pay little or no attention to the talking heads on sport networks.

I'm not sure we were picked to win. Certainly not at Iowa State.

That's so odd to me. We are third place in the Big 12, have the second place team at home and would hold the tie break if we beat them. I don't know that we are the best choice for second in the big 12. I kind of think it will be ISU because of their remaining schedule, but we absolutely belong in the conversation and control out own destiny.
