That’s a big time pick up for Tech. Beard is putting together one heck of a class in Lubbock. Is he that good?

Obviously I’m giving Beard more credit than he deserves, mainly because the two recruits he lured to Lubbock (McCullar and Thomas) were high on OU’s recruiting list not long ago. Last season it was Khavon Moore, a player thought to be OU bound at one time.

Maybe OU needs to conduct an investigation into Beard’s recruiting tactics. If he’s a negative recruiter, what kind of lies is he telling to convince the players we want to pick TTU? It can’t possibly be because Tech is a better school, Lubbock is a more desirable destination or their basketball program is superior to OU’s program.

I couldn't get NAIA's link to work. Here's a tweet and a 2 minute video of him playing against UNC this summer in the Bahamas. Said he averaged 18.5 and 6.5 against ACC teams. I didn't see anything regarding OU on his twitter page other than him retweeting Buddy's daily thanks for health. K-State, Arkansas and Ole Miss (Franco Miller Jr) along with some others have offered.

Coach Hartman started following him on twitter (and the kid started following Hartman). Kind of drawing conclusions based on that. At this point, doesn't mean a whole lot I suppose. Another intriguing under-the-radar prospect. I guess we'll see if anything happens.

Id say hold until grad transfer recruiting comes along.

I doubt Hall or Armstrong are serious at this point.

We are done at this time. I would think a grad transfer would be a welcome addition next summer.

I think the best way to attract a nice grad transfer is to have a need/pt that the grad can see, like this season at guard. I expect it will be difficult to show that given next seasons roster. Yes we don't know what can happen but I really think things will be much more settled.
