We are shooting 50% at half. Defense needs to show up.

We were doing well until the last 3 minutes when we completely fell apart. If Xavier cools off and we play better, we can still win. It’s just deflating to play even for 17 minutes and then be down 9 at half.

Still just third game. D takes time just like everything else. Want to at least make a strong run at these guys though. I like our team.

Reaves with more turnovers(4) than field goals(3), and Xavier shooting out of their minds from 3.

Points off TOs is something like 14-2 so cut those down and start defending the 3 even just marginally better and we'll be ok.

This OU team, as a whole, isn't very athletic. And when you are consistently getting your ass beat off the dribble, then you fall into constant recovery mode trying to get to their open shooters as they move the ball. And tonight they are hitting (making us pay)....simple as that.

They look like they are in game shape, and we don't. Understandable with the pause to our preseason, but we are just not closing out with the speed we need to.

And they're just not missing. Period.
