Cats will likely be without their starting point guard, who is their second leading scorer. He also missed the game in Norman. Not sure we are good enough to capitalize, but I guess it helps our chances.

OU was also without the Groves brothers last time

We’ll miss EJ, of course. He scored 21 points in that game. But I see the Groves bros as a BIG plus over Issanza. He started, played 10 minutes and finished with 1 reb and 1 assist, no points.

If this was another home game, I would say OU will win easier than before. Problem is, it’s in Manhattan, a place that has not been kind to us over the years.

Thanks for calling this out, Boulder. Wasn’t cortes out as well?

Yes. I wasn't suggesting we weren't shorthanded, too. But we are worse now than we were on January 1, and KSU has generally gotten better as they got healthier. Plus, we didn't play that game in Manhattan.

I didn’t take your post that way, Wichita. It is going to take the best effort of the year to win this game. It is hard to win in the little apple. Hopefully the fans won’t be a huge factor given they don’t have a shot at the tourney anymore.

I'm curious to see the fan turnout, too. They are out of the tourney mix, as you say, and their fans want Weber gone, so there is a lot of frustration. That said, I still expect them to have a MUCH better crowd than we did for senior day, even though they have been down for multiple years.

We’ve had more games on espn+ this year than all previous years combined. Stupid espn+. I hate it.

As of right now, 10:10 pm CT, KSU is -2.5 favs on most books.
