NORMAN – Oklahoma (7-2, 0-0 Big 12) and No. 10/12 Arkansas (9-0, 0-0 SEC) battle in the Cardinal & Crimson Classic Saturday, Dec. 11 at 12:30 p.m.

It is the first time the Sooners have played in the BOK Center since OU beat USC, 81-70, Dec. 15, 2018.

In Oklahoma's last outing against Butler, a trio of Sooners finished in double figures and were led by Elijah Harkless' season-high 16 points. Tanner Groves and Jordan Goldwire each tallied 10 points.

Arkansas is 9-0 with double digit wins in 7 of the 9 games. Kansas State and Cincinnati are the only games within 10 points and they had a 20 point lead over Kansas State in that game.

Might be a long day….but would be great if we could pull the upset.

OU opened as a -3.5 favorite ..... it has been bet down to -.5

It’s even now. That is very strange to me. Have a feeling the betting public or the odds makers sees the game in OK and think that means a home court advantage for OU. I hope OU can win but no way I would be betting on that.

per scores and odds OU is still the favorite .. (all lines i post on this site are from scores and odds)

(it actually varies by sportsbook )

I think the Sooners gonna have theirs hands full today, not saying they can't win but they will have to play much better than against Butler

I'm headed that way shortly. Surprised OU was the favorite, but Arky hasn't really played anybody. We'll need to make shots and take care of the ball vs pressure to have a chance today.

Hope alot of OU fans show up, because I KNOW the Hogs will bring everybody. When I lived in Houston, i'd go to the Minutemaid College Baseball Classic. Right before COVID hit, we played Arkansas on a Friday and I was there. I don't know what the population of Arkansas is, but it appeared they brought their entire state. They easily outnumbered everybody, including LSU and Texas fans. Unreal. I can't imagine what it will be like in Tulsa for basketball..

I’m shocked by the line, only thing I can think is that Arky’s schedule so far has been so weak that they don’t quite know what to make of them yet. They also have been atrocious from three point range. We need to keep that trend going today.

OK. The fact that we were ever favored by any sportsbook is still surprising. I would have guessed we were +6 or so and was hoping we would be. Regardless, hope the team has the underdog mentality today and in every game.

When we played Florida, I remember someone saying [paraphrasing here] “if OU plays like this they can beat anybody.” We have to get back to bringing the intensity on defense and refuse to let up! That’s the key in every game we play.

Can’t complain about that start. Worried about our offense as game goes on though.

That was off us? Some odd calls in this game.
