Exactly. And any value we might have had on osu with respect to the money-line will likely be long gone come morning.

Brother.....there's an old saying in sports gambling...."there's a helluva lot of distance between my heart and my wallet". I'm a Sooner and of course I want OU to win, but I also understand the current dynamic of the team and their recent struggles....thus there's a potential opportunity there to seize the moment (financially speaking of course). I hope I lose, but if OU loses....I might as well make a few bucks.....right?

Hit O-State +2.5 yesterday afternoon alongside a Washington +15.5 teaser. Pokes getting seven at home was too juicy to pass up. Remember, sports fans: bet with your head, not with your heart.

I hope I lose, but if OU loses....I might as well make a few bucks.....right?

I placed sizeable bets (for me) every night on the Arizona Diamondbacks during the WS because if the poor Rangers were going to go down again I was going to at least profit financially. Money well spent as far as I'm concerned.

Even as a kid, I refused to ever bet on my team to win. Just never made sense to me. Not that I necessarily thought I’d jinx things, but I just didn’t want to make myself even more miserable. When I bet against OU or any team I like, I hope I lose the bet. If I don’t, I make money. It’s a simple concept.
