Bob Knight will no longer be on ESPN after tonight

I'll miss Knight about as much as that cold I had last month.

I actually liked him at first. But the last few years he didn't even care about the job. I listened to one of the games he did in the NIT the last couple weeks and he did almost no research for the game and constantly mocked the PBP guy for correcting his mistakes.

Good riddance. Great coach, terrible color analyst, and world class a-hole.

Disagree....check my avatar. For as cantankerous as he can be, you can learn some simple things about the game by listening to his broadcasts. I guess I'm a little old school, thus I hope that another network picks him up.

In case you missed it, here is one of Knight's last lines during the NIT title game...

Scene: Miami has the ball, under the basket, down 2, 1.8 seconds to go in OT

Bob Knight - If I was Miami, I would call a timeout here and set up a play
Fran - Both teams are out of timeouts
Knight - That's disappointing

I agree. He was good at first, and then mailed it in, and just was his typical douche bag self.

I thought he was OK last night, and that his goodbye was pretty heartfelt. I did appreciate that Knight completely ignored ESPN concentrating on Irvin's cheering rather than game action (a split screen, really?).
