I can't believe as poor as we've played that we're up at the half. That is some poor basketball by both teams.

I thought we played well for the last ten minutes or so of the first half.

If Carl Blair can get some conditioning and control when he's pushing the ball, he'd be a very solid pg.

Carl's only weakness is on the defensive end. But as I have said many times, this team should not be trying to guard any team man to man. ORU sprinted to a double digit lead when we were trying to guard them in that defense. The turning point came when OU switched to a match up zone.

We're so much better in a zone, Capel shouldn't even think about playing a man to man for more than brief spurts of a minute or two in duration to keep our opponents off balance. Anything more is a huge mistake.

If Cameron Clark plays like he has the last 2 games, we still won't be that good this year. But we'll have a bright future. Maybe not with this coach, but those 2 guys are NBA caliber talents.
