** OU vs. ORU thread**

OU's defense has looked solid. The biggest issue with them is 3pt contesting. They are really backing the lane which I like.

Loved Billy Tubbs there when we passed it down the court. He basically said "DUNK IT!"

ORU makes a 3 and ruins my chance at picking the game exactly right at 70-54. But Sooners still lead by double digits. 68-57 with 2:07 left

Blair misses a long 2 but put back by Cade Davis gives OU a 70-57 lead.

ORU misses a few times. Rebound by OU with a minute left.

Pledger makes an open 3 with :45 left. 73-57

ORU hits a 3 73-60

Turnover by Blair, ORU goes to the line and misses the front end of a one and one. 73-60

ORU lets the clock run down out OU wins 73-60!

What happened to the guys that were yukking it up on Page 1 of this thread?

I'm ok with Pledger never running the point again. BOOM!:pledge

We were 3-0 with Pledger running the point, i'm not saying were better with him at the point or that it's even better for him...but numbers dont lie

Didn't Steven start at the point in the UK and Virginia games? That's what the stats show.

Putting a relatively unimportant footnote aside, though, I think we both know that Steven's move back to his rightful place at the two was best for the team and for him. It's has been good to see his silky-smooth stroke return with equally impressive results the last couple of games. I have little doubt that he can fill in at the point again if need be. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed that will not be necessary.
