it’s only smart coaching if refs allow it. Was trained as a ref. If they are not attempting to throw ball in within 3 seconds you are supposed to call delay of game. It’s on ref to decide if they are attempting, but that pass to ref should have triggered delay of game technical foul.

Northweather made way more than 1 play. Had a block and a tip in, offensive rebound. Had good box outs on garrison. Kept his man in front of him for most part.only gave up 1 bucket that I saw and it was on a fadeaway.

All we had to do was pick the ball up and toss it to the ref and they would likely have started the count sooner. But the play that just happened, happens many times and it is NEVER officiated the way you are suggesting.

I agree but we weren’t guarding full court and they could have rolled the ball and wasted a few seconds that way before starting the shot clock. I’d just rather have clock stop after a made basket in last minute of the first half like at the end of the game.

What am I trying to prove? You're the one trying to prove that Northweather is a talentless schlub who doesn't deserve to be here. I'm just asking if you can give him credit for the positive that he's done on the floor so far. All you've done is point out that he's missed his 2 3's.
