OU vs TCU Big 12 Tournament 2pm CST on ESPN+

What a **** show. Typical.

I don’t think the team or coaches really came in expecting to win. Unfortunately , they’re not even competing. Just move on to next week. Or next season. Or the next time OU basketball is fun again, which could be awhile.
Should have just forfeited if they don't care

Lulz.....gawd I needed to laugh after that sh!tshow. 10 TOs (all of which coming from guys who are in the rotation), missed FTs, terrible defensive "effort" for most of the half and absolute ineptness on the break.....not the recipe for winning basketball.
5 point swing end of half, we just don't give ourselves a chance. We hit some 3s but the damn turnovers.

Well I'll be nervous as hell Sunday.

Every reason to be. The talk of us being a “lock” has been silly. Let’s say we are currently ahead of 7 other at large teams… well, this loss alone likely drops us behind 2 or 3 of them (if not more). Then if the remaining teams do well (some of them probably just needing one win) then it is entirely possible we wind up right near the cut line.

I’ll go ahead and predict we squeeze in, but that we find ourselves playing next Tues/Wed in the play-in.

I think Moser has lost the team. Between the injuries, coaching rumors and the ever looming transfer portal the guys are checked out.

I just don’t think they are that good, when you take away 3 of our better players. This short-handed roster doesn’t have a prayer against another tournament team. If we take 3 of tcu’s top players, a full strength ou is likely winning by double digits.

Where's SoonerBounce to tell us how this is really just the players' fault? This has nothing to do with the coach.
LOL I'm right here. Yes, that last 5 seconds was all coaching!
I'm sorry, I just don't see it as a coaching issue. We make the most idiotic plays and boneheaded plays. They are so bad that IMO it comes down to talent. In other words, you can't unteach these stupid mistakes. Sometimes you just suck. And unfortunately, when you don't have a bench, you have no way to correct that.
Yes, it is on Moser for the talent we have right now. But as far as getting the most out of what you have? I think Moser is doing that

We are down three of our eight rotational guys - and our best two offensive players. What exactly did you expect?
A good showing at least. I posted earlier that no one expects us to win. What I do expect is to play with poise and toughness and heart. we are 0 for 3 in those categories.

Effort. A game plan for the players we do have. Intensity. DEFENSE. Our turnovers aren't forced, they are just downright stupid. This is a team that didn't show up ready to play. Goes back to what I've been saying, when the team gets 95% out of the talent they have, when we're getting the most out of the guys and we still lose, I'll call it a talent/NIL issue. Until then, it's a coaching issue.

Guessing PM sensed this earlier in the week hence his tweet. Trying to "win" the team back. Even if Moser stays I expect a good amount of turnover. Still hoping he leaves.

Ou is a lock

Taking this game by itself, you are correct. But OU hasn’t played a full game well in weeks no matter who is in the game. Something happened, around the time of the coaching rumors, and this team changed.

that something that happened was injuries and a tough 4 game stretch to end the year
