OU vs TCU Big 12 Tournament 2pm CST on ESPN+

Tcu is the type of team to make this interesting but we just can't take advantage

Can someone explain why Kaden Cooper hasn’t played more this season? He actually looks like he knows how to play basketball.

I hate to pour on the kid cause he embodies heart, hustle, heartwood, but it is past time for Luke to start over Sam. Sam is like 50% of the reason why the offense looks so stagnant.
Northweather ain't the answer.

That dude can sort of hit the wide open threes and that is literally the only thing he does even sorta well. Absolutely unplayable on defense and the glass.

once again we miss free throws, miss layups, and pass the ball to the other team. We just aren't talented

he is a freshman

he looks just fine to me for a redshirt freshman.
His issues can't be fixed with experience. He is slow footed. He isn't physical. He isn't athletic.

When you are that size and even your HS highlights are just a bunch of 3 pointers and dunks, you aren't every good.

Our turnovers are just awful. Just silly.

"Here, have this ball that I possess. I don't want it."

Whether he is the long term answer or not, remains to be seen. I'm not there myself either. But, teams actually respect his shot, the pick n pop with him is actually causing the defense to recover. When he slips the screen, he actually moves with a purpose to the basket causing the defender to go with him. Sam can't pick n pop, and he's not a good enough roller to the rim. Luke's defense and rebounding are just fine, evident by through his +/- numbers.
