OU vs osu 6pm CST on ESPN+ ....Toby Keith Night

Game shouldn’t have been close but for the officiating. Osu was beyond fortunate.
Yes...the game shouldn't have been close, but we played stupid for far too many stretches. OSU actually had more fouls than we did (23-18), but our technicals really killed any momentum we could have potentially had. We have to play with poise and keep calm....that was the most disappointing thing about this game other than the careless amount of TOs (once again....sigh).

This was a horrible team and we played equally horrible.

I only see 2 more wins on the schedule and that’s if we can win in Stillwater. I hope I’m wrong but nothing I’ve seen this season gives me hope of winning more than 2 more games this year.
Hey two gets OU in the tourney. And I still think this team can make a run in the tourney. Just gotta get there lol.

I'm obviously glad we won, but it's really getting hard to see many wins left on this schedule with the offensive guard play we're getting from our starters. I just wish one of them can score in double-figures consistently for the rest of the year. None of them hit that mark tonight.

I liked our D tonight but coach needs to clean up the bigs doubling and then hanging out past the 3 point line for 10s.

Didn’t like much about offense other than some nice lobs to Moore. Everything else was mostly just one on one stuff which is fine but have to cut out the stupid turnovers. We don’t have the offensive star power to waste so many possessions.

All that said I really like that we won a close game where we were frustrated. That is valuable.

Hope he doesn’t leave. Always loved his interaction with the crowd.
For a guy that wants to get out of Norman to go home to frigid Chicago he sure has fun at times. He (and US) needed this W badly.

People using this game as a barometer for how OU will play the rest of the season are wrong. We've seen it over and over in conference play, this team plays very high and very low.

Agreed. Let’s not forget the second half of the BYU game. This team is taking care of business ugly or not.

I agree. He’s starting to remind me of Victor Iwakor from a few years back. Freak athlete but zero business actually doing basketball stuff.
That exactly who hes similar too. Thats why I've never been a big fan of oweh. Just too raw still. And now i think he doesn't know his role and where he fits in which really can crush your play. I forsee his minutes trending downward this year bc i doubt he finds his place again in the big 12

He is best when OU is running the floor. He is NOT good at half court offense. Now part of that is on him to get better but part of that is on the coaching staff to make sure he gets involved. He’s a guy you want to keep around.

Why do we guard so far out??? I would pack it in way tight. Make them come to us. Northweather once was on a guard and actually went to the guard at the nba 3 line... wuuuut.

I'm seeing OU -12.5/13 on most books.

Initial thought: OU by 6-10 but not betting that, yet. Want to see the public's opinion and delve into the stats, etc first.
Close enough.

A win is a win is a win.

Next up Baylor. In Wacky Waco. Going to be tough. The Bears are 12-1 at Foster Pavilion. I have a sneaky good feeling, though.

He needs to find spots to get 3s up. He still has a good % from 3 on the year. Get some shots up. I dont get why he shys away from what he does best. Needs to shoot 3 3s a game imo

I agree. Start expanding his role. Driving to the basket is infinitely easier when you can hit down a shot or two.

Channeling my Al Davis mindset, JUST WIN BABY!!!!!(y)(y)
sorry, mizzy. i owe ya one.

soares. i don’t have anything else nice to say. i think kelvin and billy are the only two sooners who have more technicals than jalon. on to the next and that god awful angle in waco.
